Gambling Laws in Pakistan
Pakistan has significant restrictions on gambling, including the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977,
and related provincial ordinances. The legal status of online or remote gambling for residents of
Pakistan can depend on applicable national and provincial law, as well as the jurisdiction under
which an operator holds its licence. This page does not constitute legal advice.
If you are based in Pakistan, you are strongly encouraged to understand the laws applicable to
your location before registering or placing any wagers on any platform.
r788 does not claim to be licensed, approved, regulated or endorsed by the Government of Pakistan,
the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the State Bank of Pakistan, any provincial authority,
or any Pakistani financial institution. References to payment methods such as Easypaisa,
JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank or Bank Alfalah are provided for contextual familiarity only
and do not imply that these institutions endorse, support or are affiliated with online gambling operations.
Where international licensing applies to the operator, specific details are provided within the platform's
official licensing section. Do not rely on any third-party description — including this page — for
authoritative licensing information.
Participation in online gambling carries financial risk. Only play with amounts you can genuinely afford
to lose. If gambling is causing stress, financial difficulty or relationship problems, please use the
platform's built-in responsible gambling tools — deposit limits, session reminders and self-exclusion
are available — and consider reaching out to an independent support service.
